Review by hotel critic
Nestled right on the promenade, the hotel offers stunning panoramic views of Llandudno Bay, which became a lovely backdrop for my mornings. The room was neat and tidy, equipped with lovely amenities including a comfortable bed and a portable hairdryer—always a nice touch for anyone who values convenience, though I had a minor hiccup with the hot water. The dining room, decorated with a friendly ambiance, served a fantastic traditional Welsh breakfast, which was a perfect way to fuel up before venturing into my historical research—let's face it, a well-fed professor is a productive one! The staff were genuinely welcoming, providing an attentive service that made me feel right at home, echoing that warm, family-run atmosphere. I appreciated the security measures and cleanliness throughout, though I must admit that the noise from the nearby bar could disrupt a quiet evening. If you find yourself in Llandudno, I highly recommend it for a restful stay infused with a touch of history and stunning scenery.
